Helpful Hints for Prepress File Prep
PDF Files
Before submitting your files please confirm that your pdf is saved to pdf-x1A at the trim size you would like to print. If you are printing to the edge of the paper make sure the image extends past the trim size (bleeds) by 1/8 inch on all sides of the page. Crop marks are not necessary on the files.
Be sure to embed all fonts in your files. Some fonts do not allow embedding into pdf.
All pictures and raster images should be a minimum resolution of 300dpi at the actual print size. If you have any questions please email us for help.
